Product Description

Gypsum plaster KDO 80 is light weight gypsum based plaster suitable for application on most internal surfaces including brick, block and concrete. It consists of superior quality gypsum, formulated with special additives to enhance working and setting characteristics, also improves workability and coverage. When dry, it provides superior whiteness, smooth and matt finish and is suitable for all internal dry plastering applications.

Surface Preparation

Clean loose particles, dirt, grease and traces of adhering material from the wall surface with the help of sand paper, putty blade or by wire brush. Pre-wet the surface before application to achieve good workability and higher coverage.

Construction method

Mix KDO 80 to water and not water to powder. Water to plaster ratio should be (1 part of water and 1.5 part of KDO 80 to be maintained to provide a good cohesive workable mix.) Mix KDO 80 to water with the help of hand to form a uniform lump free paste. Install the wooden strip or install the leveling strip in the area where the paste needs to be applied. Apply the 1st coat approx. up to 8 mm to 10 mm of thickness, before the first coat sets rake and cross rake the surface. Fill in any hollow area, level off and compact the surface, then apply the final finish coat. After complete drying for usually 72 hrs.(Depending on the thickness and humidity), the plain smooth levelled surface is ready for painting application.

Attentions

1. No excess water or it may decrease the compressive strength.

2. No strong wind and sun within 48 hours after construction.

Packing & Storage

A. Standard Packing: In 25kg paper bags inner with PE bags.

B. Big Bag or other special packages are possible on request.

Store it in dry condition, and storage time should not exceed 12 months.
